Hello again everyone, welcome back to our site. We are really in that time of year when it is great to stroll the streets of Tecumseh and enjoy our superb shops and eateries, plus take in the special events we have become known for. How great it is to see people in town walking around with their treats from the newly opened Spotted Cow!
All of you will especially want to keep Thursdays free on your calendar throughout the summer. Classic Car and Bike Shows, coupled with Music in the Park will take place on June 20th and July 18th, and continue running into September. The Black Box Series with fun concerts at the TCA will take place on June 27th and July 25th, and conclude with an August date featuring one of our favorite bluegrass bands: Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellies!
Tecumseh’s annual Sidewalk Sales are slated for July 19th and 20th. Of course we will have fantastic bargains, as will most of the other downtown shops. Be sure not to miss the Pet Parade which will take place at 10 am on Saturday during the event. And every Saturday morning throughout the summer there is a Farmers Market atmosphere with great local producers in front of our store and running to the corner in front of the Boulevard Market.
As for our store, we are trying to ignore the mailings from our vendors explaining their upcoming holiday promotions (yes; that is the Christmas holiday we are talking about!) Note that we will be closed for several days on and after the Independence Day holiday, and reopening as normal on July 8th.
We are still getting some questions about the closing of Hacker Jewelers in Adrian, which was completely independent of our store. For a pretty thorough explanation of that occurrence, check the previous months’ postings found in our blog. Suffice it to say that our store is not affected in any way to that event, and we plan on being around for a very long time.
Thanks again for visiting our site. Check back soon to see some new/old treasures in our Estate and Antique jewelry Gallery. And we look forward to seeing you in person soon while you stroll the downtown!
